Semi-annual Meeting & Pastel Paint-Out
Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012
Location: Academy Art Center at Linekona, Rm. 203
Our Semi-Annual Meeting will be held on January 22, Sunday, in conjunction with our paint-out. Room 203 at the Academy Art Center has been reserved from 10am-3pm. Come anytime to paint outside or paint inside starting at 10am. At noon, we will break for a pot luck and short meeting, then resume the paint-out. Those who haven't painted on location might be interested in the different set ups that each artist uses. Take advantage of this opportunity to talk with those who paint plein air - get ideas and helpful tips. In case of rain, we can paint indoors using the same setups. Bring a photo just in case! Please join us and bring friends who might be interested.
P.S.- Don't forget to bring a pupu!
PAH 8th Annual Juried Open Show Results

Annual Meeting Paint-a-Round Photos
Location: The Academy Art Center at Linekona
Our annual meeting that was held in July featured a paint-a-round with four PAH members, Candace Fenander, Helen Iaea, Fong Ling and Kathy Yokouchi. Each artist began a painting and was allowed to work on it for 15 minutes. The artists then moved to the next easel and worked on that painting for 10 minutes, before moving on to the next, and so on, until getting back to the painting they started. Then they had 15 minutes to complete the painting.
Wayne Takazono took photos each time the artists moved to another easel. Here are the results of this paint-a-round.
